An introduction to who i am

I am so, so bad at talking about myself lol, always have been but I'm going to do my best to introduce myself. My name is Jessica Christian, I go by Lovesquish online, someone called me that when I was a teenager and it stuck with me. I was born in San Diego but raised in Florida, I've spent the last six years living in Koreatown, Los Angeles, California. I live with my one eyed dog, Ladybird and a three legged cat named Tripod, they are the small loves of my life.

I got my start in photography ten years ago when a close friend asked me to second shoot/assist a wedding, I instantly fell in love and everything felt so intuitive even though it was my first time holding a professional camera. I ended up trading my old sewing machine for a used camera and proceeded to upend my life for something new. Ten years later I'm in Los Angeles photographing things I could have never imagined as a girl from a small town in Florida. It's been an incredibly beautiful adventure that I'm so grateful for.
